A lot of people realize the importance of making or saving enough money for retirement so that when they are old and without work they could still live leisurely to enjoy life. I believe this is a very good practice. What I would suggest is that they should at same time save enough health or fitness too for older days. What type of exercise or fitness training is not really the issue, subject to their likings. What matters is building a life style that includes an hour of activity everyday, day in and day out. Personally, I like doing different activities on each day that I golf, swim, walk, Tai Chi… to avoid boredom or inflicting injuries of muscles or joints due to repetition of the same exercise. I also believe that if I have a pair of strong legs, at older age, my heart will not need to work so much harder in order to pump blood throughout my body especially pumping blood upwards through the legs. Healthier the legs, easier the heart.
A lot of older folks start disliking the underground because they have to walk up and down to the trains. They start or prefer to take buses or taxis not realizing how much they have lost in not giving their bodies the opportunity to save up more fitness. I hope some of them will change after reading this post.

Our society is starting to get lazy out of convenience and has lost the insight on how hard it is to make a dollar these days. People are forgetting or losing the value and hardwork needed to succeed in life; therefore, people need to reflect on what is the purpose of life and priorities to be happy :-).

Technology world changes people’s priorities, eyes and neck are always feeling tired while legs are mostly on sofa or bed or in sit down position. I like your link up of legs and heart link up in the article that can remind people to change their habit for more exercises using their legs. Human belongs to animals kingdom which has the locomotive function and I recently realized I need to move and exercise to maintain healthy and reduce the rate of degeneration.
